Terms & Conditions

The standard operating procedures and legal agreement for our handyman services.

Scope of Work

Johnson's Handyman Services ("we," "us," or "our") provides home repair, maintenance, and improvement services in Western North Carolina. The specific scope of work for your project will be detailed in your written estimate or project proposal. Any changes to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in additional charges.

Estimates & Payments

Estimates: Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. While we strive for accuracy, unforeseen issues (such as hidden rot or electrical code violations) may arise once work begins.
Payment Terms: For small projects, payment is due in full upon completion. Larger projects may require a deposit of up to 50% prior to commencement, with the balance due upon completion.
Late Fees: Payments not received within 7 days of the invoice date may be subject to a 5% late fee per month.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We value your time and ask that you value ours. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a service fee.

Liability & Warranty

We stand by our work. Johnson's Handyman Services provides a 1-year warranty on labor for all repairs and installations. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by the client, or manufacturer defects in materials supplied by the client or third parties.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Buncombe County, NC.
